This is chrome plating on plastic. If you don't allow them to be abused then they will look fantastic for years to come. If you want something a little more durable and still has some shine on it check out the 2 1/2" Stainless Steel Key Chain Nutz! They will take a lot more abuse then the plated ones and are only a few dollars more.
